A strange topography

Today the ground floor screed will be poured. Embedded in the screed will be the underfloor heating distribution pipes. These pipes will carry heated water from the ground source heat pump and will provide gentle background heating to the house. The pipes are carefully pressure tested before the screed is poured; once they are embedded in the screed there is no way of accessing them to fix any problems!
